BEE’S WAX
I was delighted when the search stopped when I found exactly what I was looking for. Almost right under my nose – actually within my family. They’re a family that love and passionately care for their bees.
They cherish them.
It is intricate, delicate work, and the harvesting of the bees wax is done with minimal disturbance to the bees.
I love talking to the family about their bees, the various aspects of a colony and everything it entails. Their passion is contagious.
In their words:
“Bees wax is harvested from a small scale apiary nestled in The Gap, Brisbane. A solar wax melter is used to gently clean the wax, producing the most natural product for skin care.Australia has the best wax for beauty products as we don’t use poison they need to treat disease and hive pests they have in other parts of the world, like mites. It’s the purest wax in the world and I press and solar filter my wax so all natural.”

SWEET ALMOND OIL
I have experimented with various options for carrier oil – from jojoba, to various other blends, but nothing compares to sweet almond oil. It brings a soothing, easy quality to the creams that nothing else compares to.
I’m currently using the highest grade, 100% pure and certified organic sweet almond oil available.
Even in ancient times, Almond Oil was considered an invaluable gift of nature, and today it’s known as one of the most popular nut oils used in the world. It is prized for its excellent emollient, softening and nourishing benefits for dry/irritated skin.
Says it all really.

ESSENTIAL OILS
This is the smallest in quantity of any ingredient used in the face cream but packs the biggest punch.
Each oil is carefully selected and sourced for varying benefits in addition to gorgeous scents. Using a very small quantity ensures a delicate, gentle experience.
We ensure that the supplier we use sources them ethically and that farmers are fairly compensated for their work.
